The first webinar in the series, Our Starting Point aired on April 24, 2020. Moderated by Dr. Guillermo Rocha, this webinar reviewed the COVID-19 situation and the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed to safely practice ophthalmology. The invited guest speaker was James Chodosh, MD, MPH from Harvard Medical School and Mass Eye and Ear, who was a principal author of Coronavirus Updates for Ophthalmologists for the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
