L’ampleur mondiale de la pandémie de COVID-19 suscite un intérêt considérable pour différentes solutions visant à prévenir l’infection ou à en réduire les effets. La prophylaxie préexposition et le traitement postexposition par des médicaments antiviraux, parfois en combinaison avec un antibiotique, a fait l’objet de débats publics et parfois d’une grande attention médiatique. Le 29 mai 2020, soyez des nôtres pour parler des données probantes concernant deux traitements antiviraux qui ont beaucoup fait parler, l’hydroxychloroquine (avec ou sans azithromycine, un antibiotique) et le remdésivir. Vous découvrirez également les essais cliniques en cours sur l’utilisation des antiviraux pour prévenir et traiter la COVID-19.
