COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course on Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency (LSCD) provides a comprehensive overview of the condition. The course covers clinical manifestations, diagnostic techniques, and management strategies, including limbal stem cell transplantation and emerging therapies like stem cell-based treatments. Participants will learn about the role of limbal stem cells in corneal health and anatomy. The various etiologies leading to LSCD, including non-immune mediated, immune mediated and hereditary diseases will also be covered. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to diagnose and manage LSCD and understand its impact on patient care.
